Nick Speer is a very highly recommendable service professional. My wife and I had just recently moved into our new house which has a finished basement. After only living in the house less than 45 days, our sump pump stopped working. On top of the headache of a move, we had to deal with the headache of going through what I would call a significant water back up issue. Throughout the basement laid items for our children that we did not have unpacked from the boxes yet, but got water damage from the sump back up. I would highly recommend Nick Speer of Paul Davis Emergency Services for your disaster cleanup.  I had a fridge waterline flood my kitchen and basement.  As soon as I realized the problem would require professional mitigation, I called Nick.  He was at my house with his equipment trailer within 30 minutes.  He definitely had the correct tools for the job too. It appeared to me that he has state of the art technology for disaster cleanup.  He explained to me exactly what he planned to do to fix the problems.

Nick was very professional and also very nice throughout the entire cleanup; he communicated well on the progress and schedule of the work and worked through the night to fix the problem.  He also repaired my house to its original condition after he finished removing all the water damage.

Once I called Nick, he handled my problem from beginning to end.  All I had to do was relax and let him handle it!  When Nick's work was complete, he walked me through everything he had done and made sure I understood everything.  When the restoration was complete, he followed up with me to make sure everything was completed and that I was happy. I was very happy with Nick's work and if I have another disaster, he will be my first call.

He has always seemed like a very nice person and willing to help anyone. I had his cell phone number in my contacts because I was the President of the BNI chapter at the time….little did I know that I would need his help when a friend called me very distraught. They were in the process of moving and had just returned to their old home to finish up some cleaning before turning over the keys the next day to the new renters. They opened up the front door and there was water lying on their kitchen floor! The hose connecting to their fridge had leaked. It had been leaking for over 24 hours and it leaked all the way down into their finished basement! As soon as I walked in, I knew right away that Nick was the person my friends needed to help them. I called him on a Thursday night at 5:30pm. He answered the phone and within 20 minutes he was there with his box truck FULL of equipment and ready to help in any way he could! I could not thank him enough for the peace of mind that he provided my friends with. He answered all of their questions and was amazing. As far as the cleanup he definitely had the correct tools for the job and it appeared to me that he had state of the art technology for disaster cleanup.

I was very happy with Nick's quick response and work and in the future if I have any other clients, friends or family that are in need of his services I will not hesitate to call him!

Thank you for all of your work on my flooded basement during this recent flood. As you know, it is a very trying time. Your crew was here very quickly, which lessened the damage that I am sure I would have had. I know that you worked long hard hours, and everything is dry now! When you guys took the time to put up tables and spread out old family photos to dry for me, which I am sure that I would have lost, I was deeply grateful. This was a most challenging job - mechanical failure of a 60 year old steam boiler which resulted in the flooding of a historic church sanctuary built in 1876.

Nick was always available from beginning to end. He used local people whenever possible, interfacing with the Board of Trustees, church pastor and staff at every juncture.

Besides the excellent and thorough work, from plan to conclusion, the most impressive part which caught the attention of everybody and raised our evaluation of Nick up to a superior level was his communications skills. Every day we got a detailed explanation of what was done, difficulties encountered, and plans for the next day.

Dear Sirs:

My name is Mike Lyons, and I am the Trustee Chairman for the Huron United Methodist Church. Our Church was flooded because a relay switch failed, in the boiler, to shut down the water entering the boiler. Instead of steam going through the lines it was water. The radiator relief values popped and water was released. Extensive damaged occurred.

Mr. Nick Speer, representing Paul Davis Emergency Services was contacted and met with me within 24 hours. The standing water had been taken care of. Mr. Speer was contacted because of the walls and carpet had retained the water and we were afraid of mold.

Nick surveyed the damaged areas and started the paper work necessary for insurance coverage. From this first meeting, Nick kept me informed at what level we were at with the type of damage and what had to be removed for mitigation.

When Nick started the mitigation, he would present me with a written work report for that day. I was always kept informed on what was going on. Nick and his crew were very professional and courteous to us at Huron United Methodist Church.
